Oliver De Coque was born on April the 14th, 1947.
He is from Nnewi South, Anambra State.
His real and full name is Oliver Sunday Akanite.
He was a guitarst who popularised the 'Ogene' dance which inspired the Nigerian highlife style.
He recorded no fewer than 73 albums in his lifetime.

Some of his major hits include 'Identity'.
His active years were from 1965-2008.
Oliver De Coque died in June 21, 2008.
