Sorry I haven't posted in a while my camera set up is basically acting up so being the perfectionist that I am lol I would not be posting a makeup look till I get it sorted which should be hopefully soon enough :)

But I thought I would share some more of my afrobeats obsession with you all!

B-DAY POST: PRETTY IN PINK

Hey Everyone!

Happy Birthday to me :D I just thank God for adding another wonderful year to my life and can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for this 22nd year.


This look was my makeup of choice today. I decided to wear it out to my birthday lunch. The aim was to apply bright colours toned down to suit the afternoon; On my eyelids I have on a mix of my faithful Sleek Sunset Palette and Urban Decay's Deluxe Palette.

On my lips I have on Almost Nude by Revlon and Sleek's Peach Blush on my cheeks.
I would have applied more colour if possible but then that would not have worked so I chose to focus on the lids as there is always more room for colour on your lids lol.

FOTN: GALAXY

Hey Everyone!

This is my first makeup post of this year and hopefully there will be many more :)

To achieve this look, I used my Sleek Sparkle and Sleek Sunset Palettes on my eyes, on my lips I have on some lovely Candy Yum Yum. I love this lipstick because it is so fun and fierce! I always enjoy applying it and sort of highlighting its rich colour with other makeup products. 

On my cheeks I have on Sleek's Flame Blush by 3 Palette and also Sleek's Face Form Palette.

I really enjoyed creating this look. Hope you all like my hair! I'm kind of addicted to kinky/afro type curls at this stage and here I have shown you guys pictures of before-pic below- and after-pic above- I brushed it out. I achieved the curls by using my curling wand and I will be doing a tutorial at some stage.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! : DUBAI

Hey Everyone!

Happy New Year to you all! Hope you have a more blessed year than the last. Sorry for the blogging hiatus I took. I have been revamping and rejuvenating over these holidays. Part of which, I spent in Dubai which is an awesome, beautiful and truly peaceful environment. I would not be posting as much as I would like to this year as its my final round at University all glory to God. So there would be a lot of work involved obviously but this year I'm hoping to increase the quality rather than the quantity of posting as its a year of transformation for me which I hope my blog would reflect.

Here are some pictures from my Dubai adventure. I also wanted to share some outfits with you guys which is a dimension to the blog I would try and explore some more.

MISSGUIDED.


I love this dress so much it fits perfectly and is such an easy outfit to put on without the need for additional embellishments.


I ordered it from missguided and my experience with the sight inspired by this dress which was my first order, has been a hit and miss. This dress being the biggest hit so far in my opinion.


G4LIFE.

I fell into the whole Rihanna for River Island trend and decided to purchase one of the items-The G4Life top. I love the simplicity of the design. I got the spiky snapback from River Island as well and I love it because its edgy. 

LOOSE BLACK SHIRT.

I got this black shirt from River Island as well. I love it because its simple and an easy fit. I think it reflects my basic style which is mostly laid back but dressy at the same time.

My makeup is mostly laid back as well. A usual mix of my sleek palettes on my eyes which I used to create some of my other looks on this blog.
